We have two methods of documenting and communicating the performance of our members. The first is through a series of 5 individual certifications represented by “Stars”. By satisfying the criteria for each Star Certification, (defined below), the repairer earns the distinction of having achieved the Certification and can display the Certifications in their marketing communications materials. Additionally, the Certification “Stars” are displayed adjacent to the Repairer’s Name on the shop locator on this website.

When a shop has all five Certifications a Performance Rating can be calculated. This patent pending system enables you to benchmark the repairers’ performance in areas that are important to you.

We have constructed an Alliance of Industry partners to facilitate the verification and marketing of our Acoat member shops. By having third party experts performing the verification, an atmosphere of trust is created. Below is a description of the Certifications and role that each Alliance partner plays in the verification process.
